November Indoor Market

Our Indoor Market Season kicks off this Saturday from 9am to 1pm,
in the beautiful Zion Lutheran Church.

Come stock up on local meats, eggs, cheese, vegetables, baked goods, coffee, wine, art, and more. Come support small farms and businesses and strengthen our local economy. Come meet your neighbors and build a stronger, healthier community!

This Saturday children can enjoy Pixie Peepers Face Painting and Balloon Ben, while grown ups can enjoy FREE 10-minute chair massages offered by Radiance Yoga.

Our favorite beekeepers from Luna Vista Honey will be sharing what bees do in the winter and how to protect them through the cold months. And of course they will have their honey and beeswax products for sale!

VENDORS.

Farmers and food producers will include Assembly Coffee Roasters, Balderdash Cellars, Cricket Creek Farm, Green Meads Farm Herbals, Holiday Brook Farm, Mountain Girl Farm, Smokey Divas, Square Roots Farm, Trusted Roots Farm, Tyler and Pine, White Goose Gardens, Windsor Jambs and Windy Ridge Farm.

FRESH FOOD FOR ALL.

In addition to our Double Value Program, where we match up to $15 in SNAP benefits per market day per person, there is a new statewide program called the Healthy Incentives Program or HIP. A three year program, HIP matches SNAP purchases of local fruits and vegetables bought at participating farmers markets. Shoppers spend their SNAP dollars and have the amount of their purchase instantly added back to their EBT card. The monthly cap depends upon household size. Households of 1-2 can earn up to $40 per month, 3-5 members $60, and households with 6 or more members can earn up to $80.

The benefits of these two programs are huge…
it means that SNAP users have the opportunity to earn between
$55 and $95 worth of FREE fresh food at each of our monthly markets!
